To further support our rural areas and local farm communities, OFA developed the Revive Fund. This program offers our 51 county and regional federations the opportunity to apply for additional funding to plan, develop and launch new projects and initiatives in their local communities. The Revive Fund aims to help our farming and rural communities enhance the profile of the agriculture industry in Ontario.

The intention is to support our grassroots members and agricultural communities by giving back in a way that can make a positive impact through the implementation of tangible activities. These initiatives focus on health and wellness, agriculture education, local food promotion, environmental stewardship, leadership development and farm safety.

We are proud of our local Federations, who have stepped up with initiatives to create something better for their communities. This page has been created to highlight and showcase the fantastic work our Federations are doing in their local rural communities.

West Nipissing Sudbury East Federation of Agriculture 2024

Worked with local farmers and the municipalities of West Nipissing and French River to install 911 numbers at field entrances.Completed

Wellington Federation of Agriculture 2024

Completed an Agri-Food system study with the help of the Wilton Consulting Group at a cost of approximately $32,000.Completed

Thunder Bay Federation of Agriculture 2024

Hosted a conference and dinner for local members and small business owners.Completed

Temiskaming Federation of Agriculture 2024

The Temiskaming Federation of Agriculture collaborated with the Earlton Farm Show to purchase three grain extraction rescue units.Completed

Simcoe Federation of Agriculture 2024
