Project summary and highlights:

Elite Agri Solutions provided general safety training for the participants that included WHMIS certification. There was great discussion about safety precautions, and it was great to see several employees there that had been sent by their employer. The training was interactive with very effective visual aids and situational examples.

Describe lasting and relevant impact to the OFA membership

Providing general safety training promotes the importance of safety within our membership for members, their families, and their employees. Educating about the everyday hazards that are encountered on the farm to help prevent accidents and keep everyone safe.
