Project Name: Breakfast Meeting

Project Summary and Highlights:

The Breakfast Meeting hosted by BCFA for Municipal, Provincial and Federal politicians to hear from commodity groups and other local organizations that support and serve Brant County.

This was an opportunity for commodity groups to speak with local politicians from all three levels of government – municipal, provincial, and federal. Participants received personal invitations to attend the event. BCFA asked that the politicians listen to the commodity groups as they present their key concerns and opportunities and were offered an opportunity at the end of the presentations to make a brief response.

There were two participants from the local media. Follow-up information was offered to online media who were not able to attend in person.

Describe lasting and relevant impacts to greater community:

Participants asked that this event become a regular activity for BCFA. The politicians expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to hear from the local commodity groups and others.
