Pat Jilesen, a Bruce County lamb and crop producer, was elected into the position of Zone 2 Director representing the counties of Grey and Bruce in November 2016. He previously served as Director-at-Large on the Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA) Board of Directors from 2014-2016. Jilesen was elected as Director-at-Large at the 2014 Annual General Meeting in Niagara Falls. He previosuly sat as a member on the Policy Advisory Council (PAC) and served as President of the Bruce County Federation of Agriculture.
Jilesen has served as a volunteer in many capacities in his local community including sitting on the Community Liaison Committee for a proposed Deep Geological Repository for spent nuclear fuel. He also serves as the representative for Bruce County Federation of Agriculture as a member of the Alternative Land Use Service (ALUS) Policy Advisory Committee.
Along with his wife Beth and two children, Jilesen enjoys riding horses and preparing for local competitions as well as serving as the head coach for the Arran/Elderslie Novice hockey team.
