Teresa Van Raay has been a director-at-large on the Ontario Federation of Agriculture board since 2019. She and her husband Martin have been farming near Dashwood in southwestern Ontario for more than 40 years, raising hogs and growing corn, wheat and soybeans. Through their retail business The Whole Pig Company, they sell some of their pork directly to consumers. In 2013, the Van Raays also became garlic growers and now package garlic on-farm for sale in grocery stores.
Teresa is a graduate of Class 9 of the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program, and is an active member of the London Chamber of Commerce, joining its board as a director in 2021. She is a passionate advocate for Ontario’s pork industry and for sustainably raised animal protein as a vital part of a healthy, balanced diet.
