
Greg Dietrich has been representing farmers in Bruce and Grey counties on the Ontario Federation of Agriculture board since 2025. He manages dairy, broiler chicken and custom calving and calf raising businesses near Mildmay with his brother-in-law.
Greg co-founded Progenesis, a pioneering genetic company focused on improving herd performance and sustainability. He served for 10 years on the Canadian Genetic Evaluation Board, including five years as chair, helping shape industry standards in dairy genetics. In December 2025, he became CEO of Holstein Canada, the national association for Canada’s largest dairy breed.
Greg holds an animal science degree from the University of Guelph and is a graduate of the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program. He also serves on the Bruce County Milk Committee, supporting local dairy farmers and industry initiatives.
