Brian Crews was elected to represent the farmers in Hastings, Lennox & Addington, Northumberland and Prince Edward counties on the Ontario Federation of Agriculture board in fall 2023. He farms with his wife Cyndi, son Andrew and parents Carl & Helena just north of Trenton, where they milk approximately 95 cows as well as plant, harvest and dry field crops.

After university, a desire to serve his community brought Brian to the local volunteer fire department, which ignited a spark in him and led to a 33-year career as a firefighter with the Toronto Fire Service. This has given him a unique perspective on bridging urban-rural gaps.
