
Andrea McCoy-Naperstkow joined the OFA board in 2023 representing farmers in Arnprior, Lanark, Ottawa and Renfrew, but has been involved with her local federation of agriculture in various roles for more than 25 years.
She farms in the Eastern Ontario county of Lanark, near Carleton Place where she and her husband Arvin raise beef cattle, grow crops and board horses. Before retiring in 2014, Andrea worked full-time for the city of Ottawa for 35 years in social services, child care subsidy and social housing while also farming.
She currently teaches in the business agriculture diploma program at Algonquin College’s Perth campus. Andrea is a director with the Canadian Highland Cattle Society and a member of the County of Lanark Agriculture Working Group and Natural Heritage System.

Andrea is a member of the OFA’s Finance and Human Resources committees.
OFA board liaison positions
Andrea serves as the OFA board liaison to Ontario Equestrian Federation, Ontario Sheep Farmers, Ontario Beekeepers Association, and Egg Farmers of Ontario.
