Overview
Health care is a necessary service for sustaining communities and provide considerable economic stimulus. To keep farm families on the farm, support their rural lifestyle and maintain their substantial contributions to the economy, farmers require access to a variety of services and infrastructure that support their operations and families. This includes local access to hospitals and health care services, facilities and professionals.
OFA Position
OFA believes farmers and rural Ontario residents must have equal access to affordable, high quality health care services, facilities and practitioners that urban Ontarians currently have.
