The Ontario Federation of Agriculture’s annual nomination period for regional director positions has closed, and we’re pleased to share an update.
This year, nominations were accepted for the following zones:
Zone 1 – Essex, Kent: An election will be held between Laura Mastronardi of Kingsville and Scott McGeachy of Chatham.
Zone 8 – Arnprior, Lanark, Ottawa, Renfrew: Andrea McCoy-Naperstkow of Lanark has been acclaimed.
Zone 11 – Dundas, Frontenac, Grenville, Leeds: An election will be held between Clint Cameron of Cardinal and Julian Whittaker of Prescott.
Zone 12 – Hastings, Lennox & Addington, Northumberland, Prince Edward: Brian Crews of Trenton has been acclaimed.
Zone 15 – Northern Ontario: Bill Groenheide of South Gillies has been acclaimed.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Louis Roesch, current Director for Zone 1, who is not seeking re-election in 2026. Louis has been a valued member of the OFA board since 2012. We have greatly appreciated his dedication and service to OFA members and Ontario’s agriculture industry.
Elections in Zones 1 and 11 will run from August 17 to September 11.
