Project Name: Farming Forward Lunch & Learn
Project summary and highlights:
The MFA held a lunch and learn on May 10, 2025 in Utterson, ON. The event included two speakers, networking, and lunch and approximately 20 people attended. The sessions included:
- Cost of Production with OMAFA, which covered cost of production, how to determine it and why it matters to your farm.
- Succession Planning with Farm Business Canada, which covered the importance of succession planning, why it matters and provided some examples of where succession planning has been impactful.
Were there any organizations that partnered in-kind contributions?
In-kind contributions were received from the township in the form of the hall rental.
