OFA hosted a meeting with Mr. Jim Wielgosz, Senior Policy Advisor during OFA’s lobby day at Queen’s Park on December 9 and discussed key issues and priorities for Ontario’s agri-food sector, including natural gas expansion across Ontario and high-speed internet for rural and Northern communities. OFA also expressed appreciation for the government’s support in seeing the proposed repeal of the Line Fences Act dropped from Bill 132, as well as sharing our strong support for the Security from Trespass and Protecting Food Safety Act.
