OFA is proud to present our 2022 edition of OFA Today magazine. The annual publication, which hits member mailboxes this week, showcases a compilation of stories that focus on the accomplishments of our sector, advocacy highlights and consumer outreach campaigns.
This year, we entered the public trust forum through two consumer-facing campaigns, Home Grown and Source Local. Our goal is to connect all levels of the agri-food supply chain with Ontarians through universally shared values. From field-to-fork, we’re showcasing the values of community, family, quality, taste and animal care that our 38,000 farming members’ efforts are rooted in.
In this year’s edition, you’ll learn more about OFA’s strategic priorities which serve as a road map for the organization as we enter 2022 and beyond. You’ll read about the many successes and challenges our industry faced amidst a busy year, as well as updates on current projects, initiatives and activities such as Feeding Your Future, Six by Sixteen, the Revive Fund and leadership development.
We focus on mental health initiatives across the province, as well as an in-depth look at OFA’s continued learning, listening and understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion as it relates to agriculture and our society. We feature stories on developing relationships with local public health units and OPP detachments at the grassroots level.
We are excited to celebrate the work of our organization alongside industry partners and share stories of positivity and generosity from our farmers, organizations and community members.
