OFA and the The Co-operators are partnering together to deliver a webinar to OFA members on what they need to know when renewing their farm property insurance. The webinar will be hosted on Tuesday, February 22 from noon – 1 p.m.
The purpose of this session is to assist farm business members in better understanding what’s happening within the farm insurance markets. There will be information delivered that will help farmers identify challenges and opportunities when renewing their farm insurance. Also, information will be provided to increase their understanding of insurance practices to assist in making decisions about how to protect their farm business operations.
OFA is pleased to have two representatives from The Co-operators addressing members during this session.
Speaker information:
Ben Eastman, Senior Consultant, Farm – National Portfolio
Born and raised on a cash crop and dairy operation which still operates in the Ottawa area. The family farm operation holds memberships in both OFA and Gay Lea. Ben currently resides in Bowmanville, Ontario with his wife and two daughters.
Mark Walmsley, Farm Underwriting Manager
Mark has been with Co-operators for over 30 years and currently the national farm underwriting manager. Although presently residing in Calgary, was raised in Frontenac County near Kingston, Ontario. Prior to being the underwriting farm manager, held several roles within Co-operators, including: commercial underwriting, claims, and managing sales staff.
