OFA recently published and distributed its summer issue of the From the Field MPP newsletter. Following the provincial election, the newsletter was developed as an opportunity to highlight the issues and priorities impacting Ontario’s agriculture industry, while also introducing the many benefits of our sector to those newly elected to Queen’s Park.

Inside this issue, we provide an update on the Home Grown campaign and the importance of farmland preservation, show our appreciation for investing in the Farmer Wellness Initiative, highlight priorities for building stronger agriculture and vibrant rural communities, showcase findings from the 2021 Census of Agriculture and feature family fun local food activities for the summer.
