OFA hosted a webinar on June 21 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. discussing the 2020 – 2022 changes to the AgriStability Program, including changes to the treatment of private insurance proceeds and removal of the Reference Margin Limiting (RML).

This webinar discussed the potential outcomes in response to the removal of RML in terms of better program responsiveness and simplicity. We hope this information helps producers determine if their farms will benefit from these changes.

This webinar also discussed how the proceeds from Livestock Price Insurance, private hail, GARS and Just Solutions will no longer offset AgriStability payments, allowing producers to potentially double up on coverage.
