Every year leading up to OFA’s Annual General Meeting, the organization opens a nomination period for farm leaders across the province to put their name forward as a candidate to run for the position of Director-at-Large on the provincial Board of Directors. The position, which is for a three-year term beginning immediately following the Annual General Meeting, offers the chance to serve as a leader in your community and the agricultural industry.
Nominations will be accepted starting October 15 and closing on October 28, 2024.
An election will be held for this position during the AGM on Wednesday, November 27 . It will consist of a brief presentation by nominees (2-3 minutes long) followed by a moderated Q & A session.
