There’s no denying Ontario’s agri-food sector has been hit hard by the COVID-19 crisis. Farmers across all commodities have been greatly impacted. However, despite the endless list of challenges and disruptions, farmers have been adapting their businesses to survive in a new reality resulting in some positive outcomes.
In the spring, OFA conducted three surveys to monitor and measure the effects of the pandemic on the agri-food sector, our farm business members, and to help guide our response. The input and feedback we received through these surveys helped us to better understand the ways in which we could support our members and the industry moving forward.
As we continue to advocate for our 38,000 farm family members and the agri-food sector through this crisis, OFA is launching a new survey aimed at gauging how farm businesses have fared, both positive and negative, through the pandemic as well as identifying opportunities for further support as we navigate our road to recovery.
The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Your responses will be kept anonymous and will only be reported in aggregate form.
In appreciation of OFA members completing the survey, you will be entered into a draw to win one of three OFA branded Yeti mugs (20 oz.). A random draw will be conducted following the close of the survey.
The deadline is Wednesday, October 14.
Thank you for taking the time to provide your input and feedback.
