The 2023 Farmland Value and Rental Value Survey summary of findings, conducted by the University of Guelph’s Ontario Agricultural College, has been released. The report presents insights gathered from 1,116 respondents in Ontario who participated in an online survey between January 9th and February 7th, 2024. Questions centered on farmland, its values, and rental rates for the preceding year, 2023.

Email outreach, supported by the Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA), National Farmers Union – Ontario (NFU-O), and Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario (CFFO), reached out to 27,610 potential respondents. The collaboration of these organizations, along with OMAFRA and the survey participants, is greatly appreciated.
