OFA provided comments to the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade (MEDJCT) supporting the proposed changes to the In-Demand Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nomination Program. OFA also recommended the In-Demand Stream adopt the more flexible and practical Federal Agri-Food Immigration Pilot Program guidelines. OFA believes that facilitating the immigration of trained, skilled workers to rural communities will help grow existing businesses and attract new opportunities for regional economic development.
