OFA supports the call for adequate funding to develop and implement a uniform biosecurity protocol at all Ontario racetracks. OFA supports removing the authority to revoke a horseracing association’s license solely in response to actions of a member or director. OFA also recommends a full investigation be conducted to determine the circumstances of a positive racehorse drug test before publicly releasing the positive test results along with the investigation findings.
