OFA stated its support of the proposed amendments which will improve rural residential, rural small business and First Nation distribution rate protection, and improve Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) processes. OFA also noted its support for the proposed administrative amendments to bring equalized distribution charges in rural and remote areas and help those experiencing energy poverty.
