Following the successful election of former director Paul Vickers as MPP for Grey-Bruce-Owen Sound, the OFA met with candidates to fill his vacated Zone 2 Director position for the remainder of his term.
OFA would like to formally congratulate Greg Dietrich on being appointed the new Zone 2 Director representing members in the counties of Grey-Bruce.
Greg manages a dairy business and a calf-raising operation near Mildmay with his brother-in-law. He co-founded Progenesis, a pioneering genetic company focused on improving herd performance and sustainability. He served for 10 years on the Canadian Genetic Evaluation Board, including five years as chair, helping shape industry standards in dairy genetics.

Greg is a graduate of the University of Guelph’s Animal Science program and the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program. He also serves on the Bruce County Milk Committee, supporting local dairy farmers and industry initiatives.
The regular nomination and election process for the upcoming three-year term will begin in June. Greg’s term will run until the 2025 Annual General
Meeting at which time a new three-year term for the Zone 2 Director will commence.
The OFA would also like to thank Paul Vickers for his passion, dedication and commitment to the organization while serving as a provincial board member and most recently as Vice President. Congratulations on your new role and best of luck moving forward. We look forward to catching up with Paul at Queen’s Park.
