Webinar – Beyond Information: How Canadians Build Confidence in Uncertain Times – 2026

Right now, how people make decisions is shifting.
Join us for an in-depth webinar exploring how these broader dynamics influence confidence across society, including Canada’s food system.
Canadians are constantly interpreting information, reassessing their beliefs, and making decisions amid economic pressure and social uncertainty. These dynamics influence confidence in institutions, sectors, and systems, and shape how policy is understood, received, and supported.
Drawing on its latest national and global research, Ipsos will examine how these forces influence the way people interpret information, make decisions, and build confidence. This includes how Canadians navigate conflicting signals, why more information does not necessarily increase confidence, and what drives what is accepted or dismissed.
Public Trustworks will focus on what this means in practice. They will introduce practical frameworks to help organizations interpret these shifts, assess where they fit, and align decisions and actions with evolving expectations.
This extended session is designed to allow for both insight and application. The format enables deeper exploration of the research and dedicated time to focus on practical implementation.
