The first meeting of the OFA Federation Forum will be taking place on March 26, 2024, at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Orangeville.  For those that cannot attend in person a hybrid option is available. The meeting is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. , with the research update open to all members in the morning and then the afternoon will be closed to only Federation Forum members.

The OFA Research Update (previously called Research Day) showcases some of the work of OFA’s Farm Policy Research Group on behalf of our members, including policy topics, projects and initiatives. This year’s virtual format is a bit different as the event is a half-day (morning) and is included as part of a larger OFA event, Federation Forum (afternoon – by invitation only).

Topics for OFA’s Research Update this year include:

• A discussion about PFAS, a persistent, ubiquitous chemical
• OFA’s business confidence survey
• Greenbelt Foundation’s soil health benchmarking project
• 4R nutrient stewardship for farmers
