Join us for a day full of thought-provoking speakers at this year’s FFCO Annual Conference, planned for April 11, 2024 at the Grand Way Events Centre in Elora. The annual business meeting for voting members will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the conference to follow at 11 a.m.

Graham Taylor, a professor and Canada Research Chair in Machine Learning at the University of Guelph, will kick off the afternoon with his presentation “Artificial Intelligence ethics: managing risks and responsibilities.” Wrapping up the day will be Dr. Cami Ryan, the social and behavioral sciences lead at Bayer Crop Science which is sponsoring her presentation entitled “Mis/dis information: Difficult to detect, impossible to ignore”.

The day will also include a Taste of Ontario lunch and presentation of the Farm & Food Care champion award.
