Some more information about the discussion groups:

• These sessions are funded by Dairy Farmers of Canada and are free for dairy farmers to attend.
• The sessions will be focused on cow housing and the Code of Practice, covering topics including freedom of movement, stocking density, and/or calving areas.
• Dr. Devon Wilson and Dr. Rachel Budd will be the facilitators of the English sessions and Steve Adam, agr., and Valérie Martin, agr., will be the facilitators of the French sessions.
• Dates, times, and registration links are available on the Canadian Dairy Hub Events page. Farmers can access it directly by scanning the QR code featured on the flyers.

Benefits for farmers include:

• Supportive, small group, expert-led, peer-to-peer discussion
• Improved understanding of Code of Practice requirements for cow housing

Who we’re hoping to reach: Canadian dairy farmers who:

• have practices not yet adapted to the Code
• may be concerned about the requirements
• may not realize they’re not up to Code
• have made changes and want to share their experience
