OFA recommended the Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission set aside their proposed regulatory amendments to Regulation 440 and Regulation 441 under the Farm Products Marketing Act because OFA has found no evidence that processing vegetable growers have collectively called for these proposed amendments at this time. OFA firmly holds the position that farmers should have a say about any changes to the marketing system of their regulated farm products.
