In response to the government’s action plan to encourage cycling, OFA recommended improved public education related to sharing the roads, including sharing the roads with large farm equipment. OFA also stated that proposed government actions to promote cycling must not negatively impact farmers and their ongoing ability to produce food, fibre and fuel while utilizing normal farm practices.
