OFA stated concern that the government may fail to fully consider the interests of our farm businesses and our municipalities, who would be most affected by the proposed high-speed rail project’s route as it bisects rural South-West Ontario. OFA urged the Premier to solicit a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis of the proposed high-speed rail project and a comprehensive assessment of the alternative high-performance rail system being suggested by community groups.
