OFA reiterated its disappointment with the federal government’s current carbon pricing policy measures. OFA noted the federal government’s lack of understanding of the biology and economics of agricultural production and marketing. OFA believes that all on-farm fuels used in agricultural production (including but not limited to gas, diesel, natural gas, and propane) should be exempt from carbon tax policies.
