On May 15, 2025, the Ontario Federation of Agriculture sent a letter to The Honourable Heath MacDonald, congratulating him on becoming appointed as Canada’s Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food.

The OFA also took the opportunity to follow up on correspondence previously sent to former Minister Kody Blois regarding trade, tariffs, and interprovincial trade barriers that are impacting the competitiveness of our sector.
