Welcome to the Essex County Federation of Agriculture

The Essex County Federation of Agriculture is one of 51 county and regional federations supported by OFA across the province. Essex County Federation of Agriculture represents the voice of agriculture in the local community and advocates on behalf of Essex County farmers on local agricultural issues. ECFA also works to increase public awareness of agriculture and the food system by providing educational opportunities such as the annual Farm Hiker Tour every fall.

The Essex County Federation of Agriculture supports local farmers by coordinating the “BUY LOCAL” campaign that includes the pamphlet which highlights producers, products and where consumers can locate them. Supporting your local farmer supports your local economy.
