Farmers Working for Farmers

The Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA) is Canada’s largest voluntary farm organization representing the interests of Ontario’s farm families.

As a farmer-led organization, we understand the issues concerning Ontario’s farmers and we work hard to make your voice heard. We work hard to champion the interests of Ontario’s farming community.

For 80 years, we have been a leader in results-based advocacy and lobbying and continue to work towards a profitable, sustainable future for farmers.

The OFA is the only general farm organization offering 21 trained field staff in 15 geographical zones. Our Member Service Representatives will help you find the information you need, and guide you in making your concerns heard.

We consist of:

  • Over 36,000 family farm businesses from across Ontario and growing
  • 52 county and regional federations for strong, local leadership
  • 31 organizational members and affiliates representing many of Ontario’s commodities
  • 21 trained Member Service Representatives spanning the province to provide front-line service
  • A highly-skilled farm policy research staff who advocate your concerns
