OFA recently completed the nomination process for this year’s five Zone Elections for the OFA Board of Directors.
OFA is pleased to announce the following nominees are declared acclaimed in their respective zones:
Paul Vickers Zone 2 – Bruce and Grey
Larry Davis Zone 3 – Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk
Drew Spoelstra Zone 5 – Halton, Hamilton-Wentworth, Niagara North and Niagara South
Crispin Colvin Zone 6 – Lambton and Middlesex
Steve Brackenridge Zone 10 – Durham, Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes/Haliburton
Crispin Colvin moves from his Director at Large position to Zone Director for Zone 6, filling the vacancy left by retiring Board Member and Past President, Don McCabe following OFA’s 2019 Annual General Meeting in November.
The election of Director-at-Large will take place at the Annual General Meeting. Due to Crispin’s Zone election there will be no incumbent for the position. Nominations will open in October.
OFA did not receive any nominations for Zone 2 – Grey-Bruce in the initial round of elections to the OFA Board of Directors. In keeping with the revised By-law, the Board established a 12-day nomination period for the Grey-Bruce Zone which ended on September 14.
Paul Vickers was acclaimed for Zone 2 and will replace retiring Board Member Pat Jilesen following OFA’s Annual General Meeting in November.
