Paul Vickers is a Vice President with the Ontario Federation of Agriculture, representing midwestern Ontario farmers in Bruce and Grey counties. He farms together with his wife Karen and son Jack near the town of Meaford, where they have a dairy farm, grow corn, soybeans, wheat and hay, and sell some freezer beef.
Paul spent 15 years as a board director of Gay Lea Foods, a large Canadian dairy co-operative, including two years as chair. He served a term as councillor for the Municipality of Meaford, which has given him a good understanding of land use planning issues, and represented the municipality on the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority.
Paul is a graduate of the University of Guelph’s agricultural diploma program and the Advanced Agricultural Leadership program.
